Bare In Beads

It’s amazing what one sees

When looking out to Sea.

A lady bare in beads

Stepping from the sand

To stroll on the stones,

Oblivious to the damp cool air

And me curious and mesmerized

Following like filings to a magnet.

Her beads began to drop one by one

And crack on the rocks as they fell

In splashes of light and color,

Releasing an intoxicating aroma

Of passion and peace and love.

Each bead breaking bared more

Of the beauty of this unknown lady

Stepping from rock to rock,

Disappearing into the mist,

Leaving me standing on slippery

Stones sensing that when looking

Out to sea glimpses of God may

Be seen in places one least

Expects to see.
